Prabhupada’s Advance Man
Srila Gurudev sings the glories of his Gurudev thus: Srila Gurudev’s single-minded allegiance to his spiritual master is an example to be followed by everyone. Srila Gurudev’s entire being—his meditation, his thoughts, his japa, everything was fully devoted for fulfilling Srila Prabhupad’s desires. Srila Prabhupad generally sent Srila Gurudeva as the advance man to do the groundwork for various events. He had complete faith that whatever task he gave him would be carried out to completion. Srila Prabhupada’s Confidential Associate
Srila Prabhupada said to Srila Paramgurudev (Srila Bhakti Dayita Madhav Goswami Maharaj), “Your service to your spiritual master and all its details are your responsibility alone. You should be grateful if anyone else contributes to it in any way. Krishna’s ‘major domo’ is Srimati Radhika. She knows that She alone is entirely responsible for Krishna’s pleasure. If anyone comes forward to help Her, She is filled with gratitude.”

Srila Param Gurudev’s Last Instructions
In the Gaudiya sampradaya, in the lineage of Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, in the religious tradition of devotion to Krishna, dedicated devotees worship Krishna exclusively. If you put other gods and goddesses on the same level as Krishna, you are making a mistake. Don’t forget this. Not all gods and goddesses are equal, nor all avataras of Viṣṇu.

Amara Bhajan (My Devotional Practices)
Although I used to sing the glories of Sree Hari, Guru and Vaiṣṇavas daily, now within my mind I consider myself non-different from them, i.e. equal to them. I am gradually trying to assume their position and I cherish the desire to attain the world, Vaiṣṇavas and Sree Bhagavān as my servants. My object of worship is my whimsical nature rather than Sree Krishna. In public gatherings, I never fail to collect fame as a great Vaiṣṇava by openly declaring myself the servant of the servant of Sree Hari, Guru and Vaiṣṇavas.

Amar Jivan Sada Pape Rata
Srila Bhakivinoda Thakur, to teach the conditioned souls like us on how to confess all our bad qualities to Guru, Vaishnava and Bhagavan, has composed this kirtan. Out of a great humility he says, my life is full of sins only. There is not even a trace of good activities in my life. Srila Param Gurudev, fully absorbed in the mood of Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakur, has sung this Kirtan.
