Meaning of 'Om Tad Vishnoh Paramam Padam'

'Divīva' means self-effulgent. As the example of the Sun I have given now, self-effulgent. If the Sun does not rise, you cannot see. When the Sun rises, you should have the desire to see. You have to open doors and windows, and catch the light of the Sun through the eyes and then you can see the Sun. Like that, we can see the lotus feet of Vishnu, eternally, when He will grace us and His self-effulgent form will descend to us and we will see Him.

    Is Regulated Sense Gratification 'śreya-path'?

When bad thoughts come, you try to suppress them and when good thoughts come, you have to take advantage and do more bhajan. Then bad thoughts will come with double the force. You again have to suppress them. If you do not suppress them, they will come with more and more force. If you suppress them, then their momentum will decrease. It may try to surface. In this way, after suppressing the evil thoughts and increasing the good thoughts you will get the realized state.

Mind is Disturbed, Not Finding Taste in Harinam. What Shall I Do?

In answer to Sundar Shyam Prabhu's (from South India) question, Srila Gurudev responds saying associating with sadhu is the cure for nescience. Nescience is the root cause of not finding taste in harinam. Physical proximity is not sadhusang. Following the mentality of a sadhu is real sadhusang which is possible even being thousands of miles away from the sadhu.

Is It Wrong to Earn More Money for the Service of Guru, Vaishanvas and the Lord?

In response to Naveen Prabhu's question, Srila Gurudeva states that if someone has more money than one's own maintenance, he has to engage it in the service of Guru and Vaishnavas, instead of spending on worldly things which results in attachment to the non-eternal objects. But then, you have to earn more money, and then engage everything for the service of Guru, Vaishnavas, that is not required. As much is necessary so much you can earn.
