Pranamami Prabhupad Padam
It is written by Sri Vyasadeva Risi in the Padma Puran, ‘hy utkale puruṣottamāt’, the message of pure devotion to Sri Krishna would get spread throughout the world from Jagannath Puri. After the appearance of Srila Bhakti Siddhant Saraswati Goswami Thakur Prabhupad, the preaching of Mahaprabhu’s message spread over the entire planet. This gave meaning to the words written by Sri Vyasadeva Risi. Srila Saraswati Thakur was the greatest acharya of the Gaudiya Vaishnava Sampradaya and its protector, the ninth in descent from Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, and the best of the followers of Sri Swarupa Damodar and Sri Rupa Goswami.

Labdhva Sudurlabham Idam…
At 1, Ultadanga Road Srila Bhakti Siddhant Saraswati Goswami Thakur used to deliver sermons on Srimad Bhagavatam which is the quintessence of all Scriptures. Many people used to come to listen him. There, he spoke on this particular verse from 11th Canto for one full month. Even after commenting on this verse for one month, he was not satisfied and wanted to speak more about it! Listening to his powerful teachings regarding the rarest opportunity of the human birth and its actual purpose, two students of Scottish Arts College, Kolkata, who were going back home after attending their college, could never go back home. They stayed in the Math for rest of their life. Such was the powerful preaching activities done by Srila Prabhupad. We cannot even imagine what he did.

Srila Prabhupad’s Final Instructions
May all of you work unitedly and in harmony toward the same goal: to earn the right to serve the root āśraya-vigraha. May the current of ideas propagated by Sri Rupa Gosvāmī flow throughout the world. May we never under any circumstances become indifferent to the seven-tongued sacrificial flame of the Holy Name. If our attraction to it remains ever-increasing, we will achieve all perfection. Remain one pointedly faithful to Sri Rupa Gosvāmī’s followers and preach Rupa-Raghunath’s message enthusiastically and fearlessly.

Contemplating Separation from Srila Prabhupad
Although when the sun has set, it may be outside the vision of the living beings in any given country, it cannot be concluded that the sun has become extinct. Similarly, when the associates of Bhagavan perform their disappearance pastimes, they may remain in a domain beyond our range of vision, yet they are eternally His companions, nourishing Bhagavan Sri Gauranga’s and Bhagavan Sri Krishna’s pastimes.
