He was the resident of Bangladesh. He came to Mayapur and by the good fortune he got the shelter of the lotus feet of Sri Srila Prabhupad and received the golden opportunity to serve Sri Hari-guru-vaishnavas while staying in the Math. After his dīkṣā, he was given the name Sri Parananda Brahmachari. For a long time, he was given the service opportunity of deity worship at Sree Chaitanya Math, Mayapur. After Srila Prabhupad entering into his eternal pastimes, Sri Parananda Prabhu accepted sannyās order of life at Sri Puridham from Pujyapad Tridandi Swami Sri Srimad Bhakti Gaurava Vaikhanas Maharaj, the sannyās disciple of Srila Prabhupad. He was given the name Tridandi Swami Bhakti Sharan Shanta Maharaj. After receiving sannyās, he established an āśrama near Sri Chaitanya Gaudiya Math, Ishodyan, Mayapur and performed bhajan while staying there.

On last 16 Madhava (497), 19 Magh (1390), Friday, 3rd of February 1984, while Srila Maharaj was performing an anna-prāśana ceremony at a household devotee’s place at Phulia, the place of Srila Haridas Thakur, remembering the lotus feet of Sri Hari-guru-vaishnava, he entered into his eternal service. Without any delay, his transcendental body was brought to his āśrama at Sri Dham Mayapur and Samadhi rituals were performed as per the prescriptions of Sanskar-dipika by Srila Gopala Bhatt Goswami amidst Kirtans. His entering into his eternal service in this way, at the place of Srila Haridas Thakur amidst Kirtans is really astonishing.
