Sriyukta Shaivalini Devi, the disciple of Paramahansa Sri Srila Bhakti Siddhanta Saraswati Goswami Prabhupada entered in Nityalila at the age of ninety two years, on the evening of Friday, December 14th, 1962 at 5:40 pm amidst the Harinam Sankirtan by the devotees of Sree Chaitanya Gaudiya Math.

Her last rites were performed as per the Vaishnava prescripts in Ishodyan, Sridham Mayapur, at the appearance place of Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu. After taking shelter at the lotus feet of Paramaradhyatam Srila Prabhupada, following his grace-order and residing at Vishnupriya Palli, Sridham Mayapur for many years, she devoted herself to the service of Sri Gauranga and Vishnupriya Devi in Yogapith temple. She was particularly expert at making various bhoga preparations for the service of Sriman Mahaprabhu. Even at an advanced age, accepting extreme physical sufferings, she travelled to many places of pilgrimage in India and for some time lived in Sridham Vrindavan taking one-pointed shelter of Sri Harinam. Seeing the physical difficulties she was facing because of her advanced age while living in the pilgrim places, her family members tried to take her home with them for the purpose of serving her, but she did not agree to go with them, not wanting to leave the Vaishnava association.

She had special respect and reverence for the disciples of Srila Prabhupada. Seeing her ideal devotion and service to Sri Hari-Guru-Vaishnava, many senior Tridandi sanyasi had special regard and reverence for her. She had special affection for the devotees of Sree Chaitanya Gaudiya Math.

Blessed is this mother Sri Shaivalini Devi, in whose jewel-like womb appeared the Acharya of Sree Chaitanya Gaudiya Math, Sri Srimad Bhaktidayita Madhav Goswami Maharaj.

On 24th December, 1962, her two sons, Sri Kamakhyacharan Bandopadhyay (Lawyer, Alipur) and Sri Kalidas Bandopadhyay (Income tax officer), completed her last rites in the priesthood of Sri Srimad Bhaktipramod Puri Goswami Maharaj at Sree Chaitanya Gaudiya Math located at Satish Mukherjee Road, Kolkata. On that day, about two thousand devotees were served with various Mahaprasad.
