Mahaprabhu’s Teaching through Govinda

Govinda served Mahaprabhu with a simple heart and showed how a gaudiya vaishnav serves. For service he crosses over Mahaprabhu spreading his upper cloth on His body, but does not come back to have prasad. The main purpose of our service is to please Guru and the Supreme Lord even at the cost of not strictly following the Vedic rules and regulations.

Narottama Thakur is Initiated by Lokanatha Goswami

Narottama Thakur is Champaka Manjari in Krsna lila. Eternally assisting Rupa Manjari in her service to Radha and Krsna, Champaka Manjari is merciful to the conditioned souls of this earth and appeared as Narottam in the village of Kheturi, as son of Raja Krishnananda Datta and Narayani Devi. He is an embodiment of Love of Mahaprabhu. Herein is a narration of how by his humble service he won the heart of his Guru Lokanatha Goswami and became his one and only disciple.
