Significance of Establishing Math
Srila Gurudev emphasizes the critical importance of establishing Maths, particularly in the context of the current age of Kali Yuga, which is characterized by widespread spiritual degradation and the weakening of traditional practices. To counteract decline of spiritual practices and preserve spiritual integrity, Srila Bhakti Siddhanta Saraswati Goswami Thakur Prabhupadh established 64 Gaudiya Maths around the world. These institutions serve as centers for practicing Hari bhajan (devotional service) under the guidance of pure Sadhu, Guru, and Vaishnavas. By surrendering to these enlightened guides, one can attain spiritual realization and connect with Bhagwan in this human lifetime. He urges not to waste any time and to begin devotional activities immediately, as this human existence is a rare and precious opportunity.

Gurudev also narrates two incidents in which Srila Paramgurdev affectionately corrected him. One is about wrapping up his tridaṇḍa. The other incident is when he was asked to read Srimad Bhagavatam and his Guruvarga Srila Trivikram Goswami Maharaj, even though requested by him sat on a lower āsana than him.
