(SB 8.3.3)

kvacid vibhātaṁ kva ca tat tirohitam

(SB 8.3.4)We may have vanity and think we are doing everything but everything is done by Supreme Lord. We are only an instrument. Supreme Lord is teaching us at every step. When the churning of the milk ocean with the help of the Mandara mountain and Vāsuki (snake, used as rope for churning) was taking place, Supreme Lord destroyed the vanity of demigods and particularly the demons at every step when they got a scent of it. Like that at every step when we have pride and we think we can do on our own then Supreme Lord is destroying it. How can we get Lord’s grace with this vanity?
He is regulating everything but He has got no touch with these things. He is seeing everything but without any attachment to those things. When universal dissolution (whole world is perished) is there, not these 30 lakhs or 40 lakhs persons or crores, all the living beings are destroyed but Supreme Lord is seeing only; independently. These livings beings have got no submission to Supreme Lord Sri Krishna. He will think about the surrendered souls. Those who are averse to Sri Krishna and have come here to enjoy, they suffer the fruits of their own actions. They have got birth and also death. When there is birth; death will come. Actually Atma has got no birth and no death. This world is like that. But they are thinking we are born, we are dead and God is not seeing. God is always seeing and He is smiling. What can I [Supreme Lord] do? They are averse to Me.
