As we find in this world, the sun is giving light or heat to all without discrimination, so similarly the Supreme Lord is equal to all. He has got no enemy, no friend. But those who worship Him sincerely from the core of the heart, engaging all the sense-organs, mind and intellect for His service, they are for Him, and the Supreme Lord is also for them (Gita, 9.29).

Śrī Raghunātha Dāsa Gosvāmī
Raghunātha Dāsa Gosvāmī served Their Lordships for more than 22 hours a day, sleeping only an hour and a half, if at all. It is said of Raghunath Das Gosvāmī’s ascetic vows were like lines drawn in stone. He only ate enough to maintain his body. He allowed no delicious foods to ever touch his tongue, and wore only torn cloth.

Śrī Raghunātha Bhaṭṭa Gosvāmī
Raghunātha Bhaṭṭa Gosvāmī would never speak or listen to gossip. He would simply discuss Krishna and worship Him day and night. He would not listen to criticism of a Vaiṣṇava’s misbehavior. He knew only that everyone was engaged in Krishna's service. When Raghunātha Bhaṭṭa Gosvāmī was absorbed in remembrance of Lord Krishna, he would take the prasadi tulasi garland and the neck-beads given to him by the Lord, and wear them around his neck.

Śrī Kṛṣṇadāsa Kaviraja Gosvāmī
Narottam Das Ṭhākura has stated, "Kṛṣṇadāsa Kaviraja Gosvāmī stands out amongst the devotees who are expert in the knowledge of transcendental divine mellows, for he is the author of the biography of Chaitanya Mahāprabhu. Even the stones melt on hearing his descriptions of Gaura and Govinda’s lila. Alas, my mind has still not been attracted by these works."

Raghunath Das Goswami, Raghunath Bhatta Goswami & Krishna Das Kaviraj Goswami Disappearance
This Harikatha was spoken by Srila Gurudev on October 24, 2004, at the Bhatinda on the disappearance day of Srila Raghunath Das Goswami, Raghunath Bhatta Goswami and Krishna Das Kaviraj Goswami. Srila Gurudev, following the instructions of the Guruvarga, gives utmost importance to remembering Vaishnava, praying for their mercy, and singing their glories on their appearance and disappearance days.

Gajendra's Prayers - 2
It is advised by our Guruvargas to hear Srimad Bhagavatam daily in association of exalted Vaisnavas, if possible. Preference should be given in favour of hearing the scriptures from Sadhus. During Damodar month, it is most beneficial to recite and read Gajendra Moksha Lila-stava from 8th canto of Srimad Bhagavatam, which teaches complete surrender to the Supreme Lord.

3:22am to 5:46am. Chanting of the Holy Name Śrī Kṛṣṇa, completely, loudly in the company of devotees and without tenfold offences, which can bestow seven attainments—viz. cleansing of the mind-mirror, extinguishing of the forest fire of birth, death and threefold afflictions, bestowing eternal soothing benefit like moonlight, life of spiritual learning i.e. awakening of the real self, increasing of the ocean of bliss, bestowing at every step sweet taste of complete transcendental ambrosia, holy immersion of body-mind-real self—be supremely glorified.

5:46am to 8:10am. O Supreme Lord! Your Holy Name bestows all kinds of eternal welfare to the conditioned souls. For that reason, your Holy Names have no direct or indirect connection with the non-eternal material world. These Holy Names have descended in this world. Supreme Lord has bestowed all powers to His Names and no restriction is imposed to utter the Holy Names. No restriction of time, space— rules and regulations, for utterance and remembrance of the Holy Names. O Lord! You are so merciful, out of compassion you have made easy for the conditioned souls to remember and chant Holy Names, but due to my tenfold offences and my greatest misfortune I have got no liking for Holy Name which has been made so easily obtainable.

Day 2: Third Yaam
8:10am to 10:34am. The aspirant who is more humbler than a blade of grass, more forbearing than tree and who is completely devoid of desire for getting respect from others but giving due respect to all is eligible for doing Hari-kīrtan always.

Harikatha on Pashankusha Ekadashi Tithi
Srila Gurudev first emphasizes on the real purpose of observing Ekadashi-vrat. He then narrates on the utmost necessity of performing haribhajan giving the understanding that our gross and subtle bodies and we, ourselves, belong to Sri Krishna and as the potency should be utilized for the service of the processor of the potency so our only duty is to serve the Supreme Lord. Kartik also known as Damodar, is the best, the purest of purifiers, and most glorious of all months. Sree Chaitanya Gaudiya Math devotees observe the intense sadhana of eight period of devotional service as mentioned in Bhajan Rahasya. Eight verses of Sikshastak of Sri Gauranga Mahaprabhu are in conformity with the pastimes of SriKrishna of the eight periods (Astayama). Pastimes of Radha-Krishna will be gradually manifested by incessantly thinking, remembering and singing of the eight verses of Sikshastak. This collection features the videos of all the sikshastak shloka explanation by Srila Gurudev followed by narration of Radha-Krishna’s divine pastimes for all the eight periods.

5:46pm to 8:10pm. Due to offences, our heart has become hard as a thunderbolt. There is no ecstatic transformations when I chant Your Name. O most merciful treasure house of compassion, give me a few drops of feeling for You and save my life.

Seventh Yaam - Prem Vipralambh
8:10pm to 10:34pm. Symptoms of separation grief— even a moment’s separation from Govinda will be considered as an epoch, tears will roll down from the eyes like rainfall, realization of the voidness of the whole world.

Eighth Yaam - Prem Sambhog
10:34pm to 3:22am. Jewel amongst all beloved gopīs Srīmati Rādhikā’s apophthegm—Śrī Krishna can crush this maid servant, devoted to His Lotus Feet, by firmly embracing me or mortifying me anywhere and everywhere by His profligate behavior with any of His beloved gopīs, yet He is my dearest beloved and nobody else.

Sri Damodarastakam

Shikshashtaka
It is prescribed by our Guruvarga that we should remember the eight verses of Sri Shikshashtaka given by Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu Himself, to enter into the eternal eight periods (astayama) pastimes of Sri RadhaKrishna. When we get established in Sri Shikshastaka, then the pastimes will be gradually manifested. So, this is very important.

jijñāsuḥ śreya uttamam
śābde pare ca niṣṇātaṁ
brahmaṇy upaśamāśrayam
Therefore, enquire from Gurudeva about the best eternal welfare with complete submission to him. A bona fide guru is endowed with two special qualities: 1) He is well-versed in authentic scriptures and 2) has realization of Divinity.

Highest Munificent Form of Godhead
A votary, to satisfy Chaitanya Mahāprabhu and the Supreme Lord Śrī Krishna, should at least practice the first and third verses of Śikṣāṣṭaka sincerely from the core of the heart. Chaitanya Mahāprabhu has taught in the first verse, mainly seven principal attainments or more correctly all attainments while doing Śrī Rādhā-Krishna sankīrtan.

His kīrtana is Only for Bhagavan’s Pleasure
Krishna is telling Narada Goswami ‘mad-bhaktā yatra gāyanti tatra tiṣṭhāmi nārada’ (Padma Puran). 'Wherever My devotees assemble and sing the glories of My Name, Form, Attributes, Pastimes and Personal Associates is the place that I stay.' Also, Srila Gurudev would refer to Sri Vyasa Deva’s pastime of attaining eternal bliss after he wrote Srimad Bhagavatam exclusively for the pleasure of the Lord on the advice of his Guru Narada Goswami. Here Srila Bhakti Kushala Padmanabha Maharaj is affectionately remembering the same teaching of Gurudev through his kirtans and harikatha. that all the limbs of devotion should be performed with the sole purpose of propitiating the Supreme Lord and nothing else.
